Passion/about:

This whole adventure started with my love of food. Growing up, my Thai mothers love language was feeding the family. She was always in the kitchen cooking Thai food from scratch, but it wasn’t just cooking, it was passion, it was love.

I grew up gardening with my Thai grandmother, Protip. Protip always wore a rice hat and had a battery operated fan around her neck. She grew all her medicinals and most of her Thai vegetables at home, growing her native Thai foods in Irving, Texas. When I was young, I remember her sharing a seed smuggling story - smuggling Thai seeds into America under her clothing!

Then into my 20’s, I became vegetarian and that finally allowed me to look at the ingredient lists on the back of the packaging to make sure there were no meat products. Then I would see words like “_______” and “______” and first started to question if there was any sort of animal product in it, which lead me to research that scared me so bad, I then shifted into an organic lifestyle.

moms passion story:

it was a lot of small steps that go beyond throwing veggies in a curry pot. It was slowly adding the curry paste into the coconut milk, cooking the chicken separately - then adding that to the curry first, then the eggplant
